Start 2020 on a positive note! Join Stacy Ingham for an All Levels Guided Ashtanga class (1 hour) followed by a Community Conference (with chai!)

The guided class will be suitable for all levels of student, so feel free to bring your friends and family and enjoy this dynamic and energetic practice meant to help practitioners deepen focus inward, learn to extend breath, and detoxify and purify the body.

Community Conference is your chance to ask those burning questions about the Ashtanga practice while enjoying a cup of chai :-) When the early western students started going to Mysore India to study with Pattabhi Jois, they had a lot of questions, but during their practice in the shala (mysore class) was not the time to have these sorts of discussions. So Jois would have informal gatherings later in the day and address whatever questions or topics came up. As more westerner came, it became a more formal thing, and they called it “conference”. Sharath Jois still holds conferences with the students that come to Mysore to study with him, and many shalas around the world do the same.

Schedule: Guided Ashtanga (all levels) 10-11am; Community Conference 11-11:45ish
