AYS Raleigh Abhyasa Challenge 2017

From the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali:

1.12: Abhyasa vairagyabhyam tannirodhah -- Nirodha (stopping the turnings of thought) occurs by Abhyasa (practice) and Vairagya (non-attachment).
1.13: Tatra sthitau yatno’bhyasa -- Abhyasa is vigilance in remaining there
1.14: Sa tu dirghakala nairantaraya satkarasevito drdhabhumih -- Abhyasa has a firm ground when attended to for a long time, without interruption, and with devotion to truth.

Join your AYS Raleigh community for a Week-Long Abhyasa Challenge to help you jumpstart your practice.  May 15-20 challenge yourself to come to class every day and observe the effects of a daily practice.

No fee to participate - just sign up and pay for your choice of classes that week as usual. I'll have a chart at the studio to track progress :-) Passcards and Memberships apply, and all participants who complete the challenge will receive an official AYS Raleigh Sweat Towel!!  We’ll begin the week with a short discussion at 6am Monday May 15, and end the week Saturday May 20 with Led Primary and a Community Talk. Stay for the workshop 11am-1pm on Sanskrit and Vinyasa Counting to round out the week :-)
